1. Who we are
NorthStar Digital Growth is a trading name of Eminere Ventures, a sole proprietorship based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("we", "us", "our"). We're responsible for the personal data collected through www.northstardigitalgrowth.com and in the course of our work with you.

2. What we collect
When you request a free audit. Our form asks for your website or business name, the country where your customers are, your name, your email address, and optionally your phone number. We also record the date and time of your request and the page you sent it from.
When you contact us or become a client. Anything you choose to send us by email, and the information needed to run a project, such as your business details, invoicing details, and access to accounts you share with us.
When you visit the website. Like every website, our hosting provider automatically receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you request. This is kept in standard server logs.
What we don't collect. The savings calculator on our homepage runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into it are never sent to us or stored.
3. How we use your data
- To prepare and email your free Lead Leak Audit.
- To reply to your questions and follow up about your audit. We'll follow up a small number of times at most, and stop if you ask.
- To deliver the services you buy from us, and to send quotes and invoices.
- To keep our website secure and working properly.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records.
We don't sell your data, rent it out, or use it for automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you.
4. Legal bases
If you're in the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on these legal bases under the GDPR:
- Steps before a contract, and the contract itself: preparing your audit at your request, and delivering services you've bought.
- Legitimate interests: following up on your audit request, keeping the website secure, and improving our services. We balance these interests against your rights.
- Legal obligation: keeping financial and tax records.
If you're in India, we process your data with your consent, given when you submit our form or contact us, or for other purposes allowed under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We only share personal data with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- Google (Google Workspace tools, including Google Sheets, Apps Script and Gmail), where audit requests are stored and emailed to our team.
- Our web hosting provider, which stores our website and its server logs.
- Members of our team who work on your audit or project, under a duty of confidentiality.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
6. International transfers
We're based in India, and some of our service providers, such as Google, store data in the United States and elsewhere. This means your data may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the standard contractual clauses our providers offer.
7. How long we keep it
- Audit requests that don't turn into a project: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of our work together, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Server logs: according to our hosting provider's standard retention, usually a few months.
If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will, unless we're legally required to keep it.
8. Security
Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Lead data is stored in access-controlled Google accounts, and only people who need it can see it. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you and any authority we're required to notify.
9. Cookies and third-party content
This website doesn't set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
To load quickly, the site uses fonts from Google Fonts and a 3D graphics library from cdnjs (Cloudflare). When your browser loads these, those providers receive your IP address, as happens with most websites. They don't receive anything you type into our forms.
Our site stores nothing in your browser, apart from what your browser keeps for its own normal caching.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct data that's wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it.
- Ask us to send your data to you or another organisation in a usable format.
- Withdraw consent you've given us, at any time.
To use any of these rights, email northstardigitalgrowth@gmail.com. We'll reply within 30 days. We won't charge you, and we won't treat you differently for using them.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK, the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, your state's data protection authority in Germany, or the Data Protection Board of India.
California residents: we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
11. Your customers' data
When we build lead forms or systems for our clients, those clients are responsible for their own customers' data, and we handle it only on their instructions to provide our services. If you submitted your details on one of our clients' websites, please contact that business directly about your data.
12. Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They're not aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The latest version will always be on this page, with its "last updated" date.
